Changing lives: international photo and video contest

The UNFCCC secretariat launched the CDM International Photo and Video Contest 2011, on the theme Changing Lives. The contest is intended to raise awareness about the Kyoto Protocol's Clean Development Mechanism. They will be looking for photos and videos that tell an interesting CDM story, whether it is about the creation of new jobs, the greening of industry, or the development of rural services and infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity for contest entrants to gain global exposure and recognition. The winning works will be displayed at the UNFCCC Climate Change Conference in Durban in December 2011, when the countries of the world will be working hard to develop a global response to the challenge of climate change. Plus, submitted works could feature prominently in important print and promotional material and on the UNFCCC website.
The contest is open until 15 October 2011. Entry is free. Send your work!
